The Lawn Lizard is an adjustable, heavy-duty A-frame solar mount anchored with high-torque ground screws. It direct-bolts to standard framed modules up to 94″, adjusts through six precision tilt angles (20° to 45°), and installs with a standard drill driver. No excavation or concrete pour required.

    Layout & safety check

    Call 811 before ground penetration to verify buried utilities. Run a string line to establish a straight, square array boundary and mark foundation points with paint or stakes to confirm an unshaded southern exposure.

    Assemble at a comfortable waist height. Fasten the support beams directly to the underside of the panel frame using the included M8 hardware and WEEB grounding washers, then attach the diagonal framing and base beam.

  3. A cordless drill drives a ground screw into gravel at the base beam of a tilted panel array.

    Position & drive ground anchors

    Carry the completed assembly to your marked layout and set it level on the ground. Drive the front and rear ground screws (26″, 36″, or 46″) directly into the soil with a cordless drill driver. No digging, rebar, or concrete required.

    Select your tilt & expand array

    Lock the rear adjustable support into your target seasonal tilt angle (20° to 45°) on either side of your solar panel and torque all hardware to spec. Expand your row by bolting adjacent panels directly onto the shared module support beam, up to an 80-foot span.

Base model: up to 120 mph and 30 psf of snow. Past either one it is the Extreme Weather (XW) model. The front screw is 26″ on every site, and the snow load never changes the rear screw.
